Nu är det dags för märkning av gårdscyklar
Antalet cyklar i cykelställ har återigen ökat markant trots regelbundna cykelrensningar. Alla boende uppmanas nu att märka sina cyklar som står på gården. De ska märkas med gula buntband som går att hämta vid bostadsrättsföreningens expedition Götgatan 114, 1 tr. Precis på samma sätt som för förrådscyklarna. Det räcker inte att ha kvar en lapp med namn och lgh-nr. Det ska vara gjort senast 31 mars 2023. Efter det tas alla icke-märkta cyklar bort som står utomhus.
Ställverksservice 30 mars 23:45 och framåt
Vi kommer att göra en stor service av våra ställverk, torsdag 30 mars 23.45 och framåt. Vi gör det nattetid då det är minst aktivitet i både vår fastighet och i shoppingen just då. Det blir max en halv timmes strömavbrott. Då kommer all ström att stängas av i hela fastigheten. I våra ställverk finns tusentals ampere ström och det är avgörande att vi sköter våra ställverk bra och då behövs regelbunden service.
Succé för gymmet
Väldigt många boende tog chansen att kika på gymmet på invigningen. Ännu fler har valt att teckna avtal och börja gymma. Mer än en tredjedel av alla hushåll har redan gjort det. Läs på hemsidan rektangeln22.se /gym om hur det går till att börja gymma. Nisha, en av våra grannar, kör också gratis träningstillfällen. Kolla in på Facebooksidan Rektangeln 22 Sälj/ Köp/ Skänk eller på tavlan som snart sätts upp utanför gymmet när nästa tillfälle är.
Träffa valberedningen på gården 2 april
Du har säkert sett att valberedningen letar efter folk till nästa styrelse. Ta chansen att träffa både valberedningen och styrelsen söndag 2/4 vid grillplatsen klockan 13 - 15.
Save the Date – föreningsstämma onsdag 24 maj
Styrelsen har beslutat att årets föreningsstämma blir onsdag 24 maj på kvällen. Boka upp den tiden i din kalender redan nu så missar du inte den. Kallelse med handlingar kommer, stadgeenligt, i god tid före stämman.
Ej akuta hissproblem
Icke akuta problem med hissar ska i första hand anmälas till info@rektangeln22.se, inte till hissfirman eller förvaltarens jourtjänst. Undantag görs förstås om personer sitter fast i hissen. Skälet är att många vanliga fel är av enklare slag och kan avhjälpas av t.ex. någon i styrelsen eller att utkörning av hissfirman kan vänta till dagtid vardag. Föreningen har undvikit många kostsamma utryckningar tidigare tack vare att boende hörsammat denna uppmaning.
Några odlingslådor kvar
Det finns fortfarande en och annan odlingslåda ledig ifall någon mer är sugen på att hyra en. I så fall kan man kontakta Odlingsgruppen på: odlingslador@rektangeln22.se
Sugen på engagemang?
Valberedningen är i slutfasen av sitt arbete med att ta fram ett förslag på ny styrelse. Det är inte för sent att visa intresse. Det är din förening och du behövs! Inga husdjur får rastas på gården
För att behålla en trivsam gård för alla får inte husdjur rastas på gården. Det innebär att hundägare får gå med hund kopplad genom gården för att komma ut, och om en ”olycka” inträffar tar man upp avföringen. Samma sak gäller för katter som absolut inte får släppas lösa på gården. Boende på bottenvåningen vittnar om lösgående katter som går in i deras lägenheter. Dessutom vet de flesta katter inte skillnaden på en kattlåda och en sandlåda. Det hittas mycket kattbajs och kattkiss i våra sandlådor som små barn leker i. Så i vårt kvarter har vi innekatter och djurägare kopplar sina djur på vägen ut från gården.
Fördelar med insamling av matavfall
Att separera matavfallet har hittills varit lyckat och har flera fördelar. En är förstås själva miljönyttan med att matavfall blir biogas. Men det gynnar oss även mer direkt, eftersom blöta och sura matsopor i sopnedkastet orsakar korrosion. Om vi minskar mängden matavfall där hålls rören i bättre skick, och kostnaderna för drift och underhåll av sopsugen blir lägre, förutom kostnaden för att frakta bort det. Det beror på att vi har löst matavfallshämtningen så att den är gratis. Om vi lyckas reducera mängden sopor i sugen tillräckligt mycket gör vi alltså nytta både för miljön och plånboken.
Nästa medlemstimme blir mitt i påsklovet
Nästa medlemstimme blir torsdag 13 april 18.00. Vi vet att det är mitt i påsklovet, men torsdagen före hade blivit på skärtorsdagen och det hade vi känslan av var ännu sämre. Time to mark bicycles in the inner yard
The number of bicycles parked in bicycle racks has again increased despite regular clear-outs. All residents are now requested to mark their bicycles if they are parked in the yard. They must be marked with yellow cable ties that can be picked up at the association's office at Götgatan 114, 1st floor. It is the same process as the indoor bikes last year. It is not enough to mark bikes with name or apartment number. You need to do this by March 31st. After that, all unmarked bikes left outside will be removed.
Switchgear maintenance March 30th from 23:45
A major service of our electrical switchgear is planned for Thursday 30th March from 23:45 onwards. This time is chosen to minimise the impact on both our property and the shopping centre below. There will be a power outage of up to 30 minutes for the entire property. Our switchgear handles thousands of amperes of current and it is crucial to perform regular maintenance.
The gym is a success!
Many residents took the opportunity to come and inspect the gym on opening day. Even more have chosen to sign up and start working out. In fact, more than a third of all households have done so! Meet the election committee in the yard on April 2nd
You have hopefully noticed that the election committee is looking for candidates to sit on the board for the coming year. Take the opportunity to meet both the election committee and the board on Sunday April 2nd by the barbecue area from 13:00 to 15:00.
Save the Date – Annual General Meeting on Wednesday May 24th
The board has settled on the evening of Wednesday May 24th for the AGM. Reserve that time in your calendar now so you don't miss it. Notices and relevant documents will be sent out in advance of the meeting as per the articles of association.
Non-urgent lift problems
A reminder to please report any non-urgent problems with lifts info@rektangeln22.se and not to our lift company or the emergency call-out service. The exception is of course if people are stuck in the lift. The reason for this is that many problems are relatively easy to fix and can be remedied by a board member or by the lift company during office hours. The association has avoided many costly call-outs in the past thanks to residents following this procedure.

The election committee is in the final phase of proposing a new board. It's not too late to show interest. It is YOUR association, and you are needed! Please note that for practical reasons, good Swedish language skills are required.
No walking pets in the inner yard
In order to keep the inner yard clean and pleasant for everyone, walking pets there is not allowed. This means that dog owners can cross the yard with their dog on a leash in order to get out, and if an "accident" should occur the waste must be picked up. The same applies to cats - these must not be allowed to run free in the yard. Residents on the ground floor have experienced stray cats entering their apartments. Also, most cats do not draw any distinction between a litter box and a sandbox. There is a lot of cat faeces and urine in our sandboxes that small children play in. So in our area we have indoor cats and pet owners keep their pets on a leash when crossing the yard.
The upsides of recycling food waste
Sorting food waste has been a success so far and carries several advantages. One is, naturally, the environmental benefit of food waste becoming biogas. But it also benefits us more directly, because wet and acidic food waste in the garbage disposal causes corrosion. By reducing the amount of food waste there, the pipes stay in better condition and the cost of operating and maintaining the vacuum system is lower, apart from the cost of hauling it away. This is because we have arranged for our food waste to be transported away free of charge. By reducing the amount of rubbish in the vacuum system, both the planet and our wallets benefit.
The next Members Hour is during the Easter break
The next Members Hour will be Thursday April 13th at 18:00. We realise this is in the middle of the Easter school break, but the Thursday before is Maundy Thursday and we felt this was even worse.
